Use the public symbol-count sample to see the workflow before uploading a project. For your own PDF, select the relevant electrical sheets and start with one clearly drawn symbol.

If the match count looks wrong, check the selected example, item labels, drawing scale and scan quality. Search smaller sheet groups, try a separate selection for changed symbols, and add or exclude objects during review. Each count supports up to 200 matches.

For upload issues, check that your PDF is no larger than 100 MB or 150 pages. The free project processes up to 25 selected pages. For estimate issues, confirm that the full plan is processed and the quantities are reviewed and eligible.

When contacting support, include the affected page or feature, what you expected and the error message. Avoid sending account passwords or billing details. See the guides and free takeoff spreadsheet for worked examples.
