Check the fit
Start small. Keep the scope clear.
Symbol counting searches rendered PDFs, including clear scans, for shapes at similar sizes (±10%) and quarter-turn rotations. Each count supports up to 200 matches; use smaller sheet groups for larger counts. Similar shapes can carry different type labels, so check labels, legends, existing work and missing items before saving. Separate new work, existing items and removals; existing items stay outside pricing.
Use a PDF of 25 sheets or fewer to try the complete workflow free. For larger uploads, preview the PDF and choose up to 25 pages to process on the free project; a partial plan cannot be finalized as an estimate. Saved symbol counts and selected-sheet schedules can be exported separately. Continuing costs $299 USD per workspace per month.

Are material prices or labor rates supplied?
Use your own material unit costs, labor hours and labor rate, then set overhead and markup. The estimate keeps these assumptions visible; the worked example uses illustrative inputs, not a market price database.
What happens when the drawing quantity changes?
Metruno flags changes to source quantities before you create a revision. Review the changed scope and its cost effect; finalized estimates stay locked.
Can unresolved or existing quantities be priced?
Quantities must be reviewed and eligible to enter pricing. Existing items and excluded objects stay outside pricing. Resolve unclear types and scope against the drawing before using the quantities.
Can I finalize an estimate from selected pages of a larger PDF?
A partially processed plan set cannot be finalized as a complete estimate. Use a PDF of 25 sheets or fewer to evaluate the full workflow on the free project, or process the complete supported plan set on the paid plan.
